JERVIS BAY Spring highlights Jervis Bay is the playground of marine creatures big and small: from whales through to cheeky seals and dolphins. Through to late November, humpback and southern right whales and their calves pull in to the sheltered waters for a pit-stop on their southern migration. Jervis Bay is also renowned for having some of the whitest sand around (particularly at ritzy Hyams Beach), stunning bushwalks and a charmingly old-fashioned vibe. The theme for 2012 is ''style and design'', which will be expressed through events such as runway shows, DIY workshops and tips for sustainable living. Once the sun goes down, catch the live grooves and illuminations of Floriade NightFest (September 26-30).
